Jimmy Heberling has been studying music from the perspective of multiple instruments since before he hit double digits. He studied drums in the Middle East, played upright bass with a jazz choir led by the esteemed choir director Loren Wenz, and is a graduate of a contemporary music college for guitar (Musician’s Institute, Hollywood, CA). He studied under active players such as Ross Bolton (Al Jarreau, Wayne Brady), which led to playing alongside esteemed players such as Grammy-winning saxophonist, Rick Rossi (Brian Setzer, Frank Sinatra) and accomplished bassist Larry Antonino (Jeff Beck, Chaka Khan).


    Having devoted much of his early life to gymnastics, he uses his expertise for a unique performance in music videos and on stage. Jimmy is based out of Los Angeles, but has been flown all around the US and world to perform. He can also be found performing regularly with local artists on the Sunset Strip, leading a top-notch variety band - Funk Shui, engineering and producing in his own recording studio, transcribing sheet music, composing music for commercials, or running live sound for events and clubs.
